Dave Ramsey is all about behavior change and this book is a good way to implement change. The Heath brothers use the model of a rider, elephant and path to explain change that works. Everyone is part rider (logic) and elephant (emotions). The rider usually knows what he or she should do, but it is hard to get the elephant to make changes unless it is motivated. By shaping a path, the rider can make it easier for the elephant to change behavior.
Dave Ramsey is mentioned in the book as a good example of making this process work. I would recommend this book even without this reference, but it is clear Dave figured out what this book teaches even before it was written.
My favorite book of the past few years and I read lots of books.

I thought the book was very inspiring. Loved the "real life examples".
Now I know I truly ride the elephant and hope I put these principles to work in my life for some changes.
