I really was blessed by all the information in this dvd. It will make you see your money and relationship with your spouse in a new light. I highly recommend this to anyone but especially couples. Not only will you laugh you will see where you can make changes.

Gee whiz! I wish I had watched this years ago. Dave's message is both simple and brilliant. Unfortunately, I am now divorced. If I had been smart enough to follow this program years ago I would probably still be married. (Finances definitely took a toll on my marriage.) If you want to have a healthy marriage, follow Dave's program. Seriously.

I found this DVD very useful in how to relate to others and with my money. I would recommend this to beginners as well who want to get out of debt. Dave Ramsey is both funny and passionate about his beliefs in how to manage money. Great DVD! Thanks, Dave!

I received this DVD with another order I placed. I really wasn't expecting much from it b/c I had read "More than Enough" and TMMO twice. My husband and I communicate well about money - no issues there. OK, so what can we learn? This touches on things that the books don't (or maybe I just missed it??). Even better is it goes into the money aspect with your children which was most beneficial to us since we have a 3 year old who is starting to learn the value of money. I really didn't think we would gain much from watching it, but it was a great refresher for us as we go into the new year. We are going into it with a whole new motivation for our future!

This video is a must see for couples who are married or who are engaged to be married or who might get married some day. This is one of the most helpful videos in all of the Financial Peace University lessons. My husband and I are so much better at communicating together in all areas of our marriage because of this lesson. This should be required for premarital counseling (all of FPU should be). We highly recommend this video. Buy multiples and give them as gifts!

In this DVD, Dave offers practical suggestions for couples to use in developing and agreeing on an effective budget. The concept of mutual give and take which Dave presents is something that is easy to forget when 2 people sit down to an emotionally charged task such as developing a budget. But, Dave offers good ideas to help the couple survive the process. Also, included are tips for involving the whole family in developing and following a budget. Indeed, this is a helpful and vital DVD.

I loved this lesson. When you think about the things that get in the way of sound financial practice - you have to address the 'upspoken'. Oftentimes money is one of the unspoken or at the least unaddressed issues in marriage. The sacred cow. Taking a look some of the ways men and women approach things - shine light into an area (finances) that's often kept in the dark. We realized that I'm a little bit nerd and she's a little bit free spirit - but she's also got a little bit o' nerd and I've got some free spirit. So we went with it - produced a budget - looked it over. Had a few arguments - but here we are. Budget done, and realized that some of the issues we argued about over money weren't related to money at all (issue's not the issue) but the lesson helped us uncover some unrealistic expectations. Who knew we'd get a little marriage counseling along the way. Thanks so much,.

We struggled. We went to marriage counseling which helped, but this DVD made a big difference. I'm a nerd (you'll see what that means), and I expected my spouse to think just like me. I learned to understand my free spirit husband better so we could work more as a team. What a great feeling! My 9 year old son watched it, and decided to earn money rather than using my money to buy me a Christmas gift!

This lesson as well as all the lessons has really helped us commit to changing our family tree one saved dollar at a time. We are taking the FPU classes now for the second time since last Fall and we love it. We give testimony to Dave's teachings every chance we can. We have more peace of mind knowing what we're doing with Gods money is giving us the ability to one day live like no one else. Dave, you are changing people in this country one family at a time. We thank you from the bottom of our heart and our checkbook!

It is good to have and to watch again from time to time in order to regain perspective. I especially enjoyed the involvement of the Ramsey children. Is there any greater testimonial than for your children to believe in and support what you do?!

We got this to try out hoping that we might generate some interest in our church and do some more. While Dave Ramsey was entertaining and there were some good ideas presented in the video, I can't recommend it. Unfortunately we found the video to be very sexist and to marginalize single people. I suppose if our church was full of only married people who fit the stereotypes of male and female that he used throughout the video it might have worked well. Fortunately we are not like that. Too many of our congregation felt left out (at best) or insulted (at worst). I especially felt bad for the single people who, without someone with a different attitude towards money to complete them, were destined for financial doom.
