My husband and I have been on the Ramsey Plan for almost 2 years, we have make great strides and paid off our house. When my cousin started asking me questions, he was beyond needing help. His family is about to lose it all, I started helping him and said to my self, I can't help as well as I could if we were close, so maybe he can get online and Dave can help him :) and my cousin can now breathe easier, he still might lose it all but he has a budget, he is learning everyday what not to do and how to change it. He hopes that someday soon he can Pay It Forward, they way I did to him and that makes my heart happy !!

It really helped me to "see" where my money was going and it made the forms from Dave's book come alive. I love everything about it! The snowball feature is amazing to keep track of the progress I am making,can't wait till the what if feature is available,love the wallpapers and I have the entire 3 hour show on my blackberry to walk to everyday!! Thanks Dave, this really was the missing piece to me finally getting the budget puzzle going!!

My Total Money Makeover.com is great! We have waited and delayed to try it and now we are hooked. I wish we wouldn't have waited so long! It is very user friendly and it is awesome to hear stories from others and share knowledge while on the path to financial freedom! We have read Dave's books and been on his website but the subscription to MyTotalMoneyMakeover.com seems to keep us more motivated to get debt free. Give it a try!

I was very excited to get the offer for a 6-month MTMMO subscription. Being in Baby step #2, I just could not justify the expense of the annual subscription anymore. The price for the 6-month subscription got me back to reading the forums. I really enjoy them, but I must say, I wish they were a little more regulated. You have a few regular posters that tend to bully others. I myself probably will never post because of that. It's a shame because most people are just seeking sound advise from others in similar situations. Many are met with demeaning comments from folks who go too far.

I listen to the TMM radio program on my used I-pod purchased on E-bay before I fall asleep each evening.
I'm coordinating LOVE YOUR FAMILY WELL (Show your family love by giving them peace of mind, not tough choices.) Panel: a funeral director, I'll share Lightening the Burden for Your Family & Executor. an attorney, and someone representing Sharing Your Wishes.
On the TMM radio program, occasionally I learn things to pass on to others. I enjoy hearing the compassion in Dave's voice when there is sadness in a family. I like the book recommendations. I'm 74 and was debt free many years before I heard of Dave Ramsey; it's just the way we lived. I've read all his books and listened to all the CDs and give books as gifts. We listened to Dave on FBN while it was available. We attended a HOPE simulcast, and I've attended a TMM simulcast.
