My husband and I are so excited about the future now. Our spending has decreased dramatically and we are now halfway through our debt. We can see ourselves meeting our financial goals and retiring comfortably now. Before we were just living paycheck to paycheck and trying to keep up with everyone around us. Thank you Dave.

A co-worker suggested I read this book to start working on my debt. I was excited to read this when I got it and quickly started to work on my budget and get Baby Step 1 started. Within 3 weeks I got my $1000 saved and within two months I've paid down $1500 on my car loan. I'm still tweeking the budget but I have finally come to terms with what I spend. I control the money and the money doesn't control me.
This book was the best purchase I've made in a very long time. I'm not only teaching myself how to live like noone else, but also teaching my 10 year old son to do the same. He received $400 for Christmas and almost all of it went into a savings account.
Thank you Dave Ramsey for coming into my life.

Of all the financial books I have read this is the most useful. It is easy to read and presents a sensible plan for anyone to implement (if they WANT to). I began working my plan and sent the book to my 21 y.o. daughter. I tell everyone to look at this information if they are serious about getting their life back and having fun before they die. This beats a four hour work week and could certainly lead you to that sort of lifestyle if you wanted to go there.

Too often we think we can earn our way out of stupidity. While I never considered mysel fto be overly foolish with money, I certainly have had my eyes opened to the ways money leaks out of the system when your not paying attention to life. As a physician earning 200k /year I have come to realize that the principals in your book are just as important to me as they are to others earning much less. Because of your book and teaching principals, my wife and I are re-evaluating our expenditures to decide whats really important. Keeping a leaky pool full by filling it with a bigger hose is stupid and thats what we were doing until we applied your principals.

I purchased this book for my brother and step sister, which are newly weds so needless to say they were in a financial crisis. At first I felt that it would be sort of insulting to give someone a book that stated they had a money problem and it was none of my business to begin with, but then I got to thinking that I'm doing them a favor. I was happy with the purchase because I knew that the author doesn't write about these get rich quick schemes that you here so often about. Thanks Dave, from another satisfied customer.

Reading Dave Ramsey's insight into financial matters has reinforced areas where I have made right choices and shown me where I need to make better choices. The insights help my mindset to think beyond the immediate gratification and think about the practical long-term effects each desire and decision will have for months and years to come. I like that this is not a legalistic approach to say you can never enjoy things money can buy, but rather it is a mature way of handling my desires and money so when I eventually purchase what I want (in cash) that I will thoroughly enjoy it with no regrets -- and no debt robbing me of the pleasure.

The best book to get your financial life in order. I am now only 10 months away from complete debt freedom. I would highly recommend EVERYONE read this book. I am in the process of teaching the concepts to my teenager.

I'm using this in the FPU classes, and I just had to call a customer service line to cancel something. They tried to sell me about 8 different things, but I kept hearing Dave's voice in my head telling me to stick to the plan! So I told them outright that I had a budget and that there was not even one more dollar that I could give them. I just stuck to it, and I felt GREAT when I hung up!

Bought one for myself and also for a gift.Both families are now working with a budget and my copy is currently on loan to another friend. An eyeopener in where the money leaks are. Especially excited about the envelope method. The charts included are very, very helpful!

we have saved $1000.00, paid off our truck and put ourselves on a budget! and we know exactly how much money we have in the bank! this was our christmas present to ourselves and for the first time in my life I feel hopeful about my financial future!!! I just wish I would have learned these principals earlier. Thank you Dave! I bought a copy for my sister and her husband and my friend I definetly recomend this book , it's such an easy read anyone can understand it. best investment I've ever made! and for the first time in my life I know what financial peace feels like I did'nt think it really existed!!! I took the Financial Peace Class in High School. It was the only class I did well in. . Besides P.E. I was able to save over $2000 just mowing yards, and using Dave's methods. Well, I graduated, bought a new car and totally threw out what I had learned. . It's taken some time but I got Dave's books and started to re-educate myself. I have paid off 3 credit cards and owe very little on the car. I have been using the DEBT SNOWBALL! I will be debt free Summer 2010!!!! THANKS DAVE!

FINANCIAL PEACE REVISITED IS LIKE A BIBLE, EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT AT LEAST ONCE. I HAVE READ THE ORIGINAL YEARS AGO AS WELL AS THE TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER REVISED AND UPDATED. I HAVE ENJOYED EVERY CHAPTER IN THESE BOOKS. I AM WORKING ON MY PERSONAL DEBT FREE GOAL AND WILL BE THERE REAL SOON.

Financial Peace University was the best course my husband and I have ever taken. Financial Peace Revisited makes getting your finances in order a simple process. It takes hard work and dedication but if you read the book and follow the plan - it works. With Dave's guidance, we have stayed debt free and on target for paying off our house while I was out of work for almost a year. Thank you Dave for your insight and instruction!

My wife and I had just completed the Financial Peacy University through our Church, along with 5 other couples, in mid November. We were both very impressed with the course and talked about how we could share it with our Kids. When I saw an e-mail blast about your books, I decided that one of the best way to get our daughters and their husbands interested in making changes to their lives, was to get them to start reading your books. All three families got copies of the Financial Peace for Christmas. All during Christmas day I saw various ones of them reading the book during the day. Several times since Christmas one of our daughters would call my wife and I over heard her several time refer them to "the book" to back up the answer she gave them. So you have not only helped my wife and I, but there are 3 other families who are working your system in their lives.
