We had taken a financial peace course at our church. We have always been financially responsible but still learned a lot. We left the course and paid off our mortgage and live debt free. Our four children range in age from 23 to 17 and we felt this would be a great time in their lives to reinforce being financially responsible. Our 19 year old listens to the CDs as he delivers pizza, in his 10 year old Honda, hoping to invest $2000/month...his 17 year old brother is very interested in being a millionaire. Our 21 year old daughter just moved out with her 3 - 6 month 'nest egg'. And the eldest started his own business and is saving for a 'new to him' vehicle for that business. Thank you for this program. Every family should have a 'home study kit' , makes for good learning and great discussion.

I am DEBT FREE! And people always ask me how I did it? How I changed my career path with out stress, how I changed our lives. It was years of sacrifice and hard work with the tools provided to my husband and I, we were able to pay off our cars, the one credit card we had, the 110K in Student Loan Debt and our Home $204K in 8 years. Now that we do not have any debt we are free to give. I recently purchased to FPU Home Study Kit's. I gave one to my Family Member who needed the plan, and another to a Future First Time Home Buyer who needed the plan.
By giving this as a gift, I will change their lives for the better. They wanted to pay me back. I told them to do the plan and then pay it forward. I know they will succeed, with my support they can achieve anything.

I stumbled onto your program by accident a few months ago and the honest, bible based principles kept me listening. This is the best investment with money I have made to date and I know the dividends will keep pouring in as I educate my friends and family. Keep up the good work Dave.

I've really been enjoying this study so far. The information is extremely valuable regarding steps to take to get your finances in order, and WHY this is important. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is struggling with finances. It will pay for itself if you are committed to changing your life.

We gust started fpu and my wife of 7 years was not on the same page as me with money she looked at the bank acct. and Saw there was money and just spent it we have lost every thing 3 times she didn't work and now she is Gazelle intense on doing this program she started a job and now want to love like no one else so we can live like no one else so I have to say thank dave and good luck to every one that Go's Through fpu

We have worked through two chapters so far. After chapter 1 my husband was ready to give up. But we pushed onward and I'm so glad we did! During session 2 we learned why we behave the way we do with money and each other. We actually laughed together over money instead of fighting. My "free-spirit" told this "nerd" to go ahead and create a budget. He can't wait to see if I can "shut up" while he has to "tweak" the numbers.

Due to tragedy but moreover my inability to manage and SAVE money, I have filed bankruptcy 3 times in my life...THREE. This is embarrassing, but I can now say that my wife and I are well on our way to financial freedom. We have our emergency fund and are paying off my student loans 2 payments at a time. We are contributing as much as we can afford to our retirement account (we are both in our 50s) and we have our envelope system in place.
Thank you for your ministry and direction. There is nothing better than FREEDOM.

Very easy to understand, should have picked this up a couple of yrs ago when we saw Dave in Houston, but we where saving our money! Ha Ha ha!! Teaching our teenagers to do the baby steps, we have modified them of course but they too are on their way to never being in debt!!!

This product is awesome. I highly recommend it. I love that Dave gives advice that is both sound and Biblical. I have been on a journey to zero debt for quite some time now with little results but I feel that Dave's program will drastically accelerate my journey.

Before FPU my wife and I NEVER talked about finances. Well, unless it was an unpleasant talk. Just the simplest things like, I need 20 dollars for gas or I need to buy diapers was unpleasant and often lead to larger fights, because neither of us knew if the money may have been needed to pay a bill later on. It lead to a long month of constantly looking at our bank account and calculating if we had enough for this and that. Now we know before the month starts, and the tension is gone. When one of us needs gas we tell the other and take it out the the envelope labeled gas with no worry or stress.
Like I said, amazing!

I am in my third week of Financial Peace University and it’s the best money I have spent in the past five years (possibly in my life). I am blessed to have a good income but being single I was struggling with the discipline of how to best save my money. Couple that with the lack of knowledge of when you do save, where should you start and where should you invest/keep your money - it just became overwhelming. Too much trouble I always thought. Until I hit 40, now saving for my retirement became a bit more noteworthy. This course is a blessing from God. And I have been telling everyone, especially my nieces and nephews that they MUST get this course. I actually think I will buy this course for my family members for Christmas. For someone who has never successfully lived on a budget, I can proudly say that I've lived UNDER our budget for the past 3 weeks. It hasn't been easy, but the peace of mind is defIntely worth it. Dave's lectures are inspiring and give practical information on how to achieve your financial goals. I look forward to making these changes life-long changes that will bless my family's future! I was given some money for my birthday a little over a year ago and used it to purchase the Financial Peace University Home Study Kit. This was the best birthday present I have ever received! While it is a small investment to buy the program the knowledge you gain from it will make you smarter with your money. The home study kit is nice if you have a schedule that requires more flexibility. Plus, we are able to go back and watch the lessons every few months to help keep us on the right track! We are currently working our debt snowball and are making tremendous steps in our financial future. So, go sell some items that are sitting around collecting dust and buy this kit! You will not regret your decision to buy this program!

I decided to purchase your FPU course Dec. 21, 2012. My wife and I have been married 20 years and have always lived in "Crisis Mode". It was time to make a change. We watched the first 3 DVDs in FPU over and over and decided to take action! After our first budget last week, we learned we are wasting almost $2300 per month on useless spending and overdraft fees! We stuffed our envelopes with my last check, paid our online bills and still had $630 left!! My wife is now able to save everything she makes on a daily basis. Your advice and easy to understand approach to managing money has been and will continue to be a blessing to our family.

Financial Peace University has literally changed our lives. We are paying our stupid taxes and working towards paying off our debt. We are selling things and not feeling guilty about not having the stuff. Dave's comment in week 4 really hit home with us "Sell the stuff. You don't need the stuff. You can buy more stuff later when you can actually afford it." He's so right. It's not about the stuff. It's about living a debt free, stress free life where our marriage and family have strong bonds and we can teach our children the proper ways to handle their finances as they get older. Thank you Dave! We are telling everyone we know to go through this class.
